WeirdBEAT is an underground musical collective which offers an alternative to the mainstream music, club scene. Bringing together musicians, Dj's, writers and artist's of many styles into a non-profit organisation, creating music and offering free parties in Dumbarton and the west of Scotland. Weirdbeat plows all monies back into events, equipment, etc...
It began with the collaboration of The Weirdfruit and Deadbeat Studio hence the name weirdBEAT and has been known as such since 2000, although collectively we have a musical history that goes back as far as 1985 and the formation of Dumbarton punk band Lost Cause.
