Watsy - The Switchdoctor creator of the WeirdFruit, responsible for the MONKEY BUSINESS! rig and all the other odds and ends.

The Weirdfruit was formed with a great love of music and the idea of bringing together my friends and others to share our love of music and the spirit of togetherness promoted by dance. This ethic carried over into the creation of the weirdBEAT. Many of my friends have contributed in some way from remixes and advice, to tunes written specially. Without them, none of this would be here and so a big thanks must to go out to all.

Kieran B Producer and Dj

Responsible for who's playing at MONKEY BUSINESS and the nightmare of set times! Knows how to produce and mix some great techno too.

Karen and John

Indespenible when your running outdoor events. The food, the fire, the tents, sensible thinking and good at handling the police lol.

Own Admission - acid/house/techno - created by Ronnie B. One part of DJ team Ebb & Flow.

Music that is seeking to move out of the frame, not to be a marketing ploy or genre specific identity, quantified handed on a plate. I choose my influences when i can, yet much of what you hear was out of my control. I have my machines sequencing my thoughts that twist and turn beyond reaction. We make statements of truth, pretentions and lies. Emotional ripples, expressions of change, violent assaults and rashes of fustration. I'm digging in deeper; I'm reaching out to an endless list of influence and trivia, exploration and situations, friends and family, possible worlds. I'm in the trenches waiting to go over the top shot down on exposure. I'm seeking that clarity of experience, where thoughts and bodieas reach up. The rhythme and music carry me away, higher and lower like some poxy card game. I see my responsibilities, ego trips and power struggles, self-imposed constructs of fear and isolation. I feel time, age, experience and a love thats seldom spoken. Now that these things leave my head I see strands of life and ties that will never be broken. What is work today, might not work tomorrow.

Iapetus - Ambient/house/techno - created by G. Davidson.

A definitive House/Techno style sound, influenced by the likes of Steve Hillage and Orbital. Long time creator of electronic musical landscapes Gogzy has now brought us Iapetus. If ever there was a sound for that laidback late night sound this is it. From his musical beginings in the eighties, ex Lost Cause member, to the present, his music has always caught the ear. Listen and enjoy!<

Iapetus is a moon of Jupiter surounded by conspiracy to find out more click here.

Pete Stone (Alone) vocalist and song writer.

It's the fairy voices in my head make me do it! I draw much of my inspiraton walking in the Scottish hills and the contrast of civilisations towns and citys growing in the glens and valleys. What more inspiration does a person need?

A wise man who helps us all keep it real.

Marnie

The one woman street crew and promoter. Honestly you dont need anyone else she just seems to get everywhere and know evryone!

Shroom - psychedelic rock - created by Watsy, Jig and G. Spence.

Shroom record during the full of the moon. Theres nothing like a live jam, its what we're about, sit back, plug yourself in, its time to fly. Creating an ever changing soundscape for you listening ears.

Not So Alone Alternative, Industrial, Punk and 80's pop/goth.

Long time friends and former 'Lost Cause' members who got together to start a new project. On one of Pete's visits back to Scotland they got back into the studio with Gogzy the cause's synth player and bass player W@tsy. Going back to basics they re-recorded (In the)Weirdhouse, a Lost Cause 'classic', rediscovering the joy of their music, releasing two CDs and with the promise of greater things to come.

Idiosyncratic techno music for the throw away generation, this is so much more fun than watching the T.V. this is the best time to be alive, there is so much to do and so little time ..............welcome to H5n1.

And of course last but not least everyone who loves the music and gets involed . Those who have joined us over the years for some great parties or to record some music. All those who've donated money, gear or time toward the making of the weirdBEAT. Thanks and long may it continue.
